Sat., March 12th, two seatings (6pm and 8pm).  Cece and Ruth “unplugged” at the Noah Webster House’s TAVERN NIGHT.   227 South Main St., West Hartford, CT, 06107.    Reservations are required. (www.noahwebsterhouse.org, or 860-521-5362).  Listen to rollicking Celtic tunes while you enjoy traditional early American fare. A hearty meal will tempt your taste buds while ciders, ale, wine and temperance beverages complete your meal.  $25. members, $35. non-members… includes your meal, two beverages, after- dinner concert with desert, followed by tavern games.  Reservations required.

Sat., March 19th, private party for Veterans and their Guests at the Rocky Hill Veterans Home & Hospital, with The Birch Creek Band.   Support your Vets – volunteer your talents at the Hospital!

Sat., March 26th, 8:00 pm.  Ruth & Cece along with the BIRCH CREEK BAND at the VANILLA BEAN CAFÉ, 95 Deerfield Rd., Pomfret, CT, 06258.  Tickets $12. at the door.  They have a great kitchen at the Bean, and an affordable, wide selection of wines & beverages.  A post-St. Patrick’s celebration of lively Celtic instrumentals and balladry. www.thevanillabeancafe.com or call 860-928-1562 for info/reservation.

Sat. & Sun., April 16 and 17, three sessions… Cece & Ruth at the NEFFA FESTIVAL (New England Family Folk Assoc.), at the Mansfield High & Middle Schools, 250 East St., Mansfield, MA.    We’ll perform our “Ballads Through Time” program (Sun., 4/17th at 3 pm, High School Room 117) and lead an “Acapella Techniques Workshop” (Sat., 4/16th at 10 am, High School Room 177)

Sun., May 8th, 1:30 pm.  Ruth & Cece in a HOUSE CONCERT hosted by Louis Audette and family, at 24 Everit St., New Haven (rear house, between #s 22 & 32 Everit).  Reservations required (860-347-4957 or email 24everit@concentric.net   $15. can be paid at the door.  Refreshments will be served.  This house concert is unique, in that you also have the opportunity to see first-hand the magnificent artwork of Anna Held Audette – a painter of “ruins of our time”.  These works are mesmerizing!
